About Southeast Roofing & Building
When your roof starts letting water in, it's rarely convenient. It might be a drip that shows up during a week of heavy rain, a slipped tile you spot from the garden, or a sudden problem after a windy night. Whatever's going on, you want someone local who'll take it seriously, explain it clearly, and fix it properly.
That's exactly what we do at Southeast Roofing & Building. We're a roofing company based around Chesham, working across Buckinghamshire, with 10 years' experience on all sorts of roofs — older properties, newer builds, extensions and outbuildings.
We're fully insured, all work is guaranteed, and we're proud of the reviews we've earned on Checkatrade and Google. Most of our work comes through local recommendations, and we treat every job like it's for someone we'll bump into in town.
Areas We Cover
We’re based around Chesham and work across Buckinghamshire day in, day out. That includes nearby places such as Amersham, Great Missenden, Wendover, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, and the surrounding villages.
If you’re just outside these areas, it’s still worth getting in touch — chances are we’re working nearby already.

Highly recommend. I had a stubborn roof leak that another local firm had expensively tried and failed to fix. Southeast diagnosed the problem thoroughly before quoting for repair - with videos and pictures identifying the source of the leak. During the repairs, the team were courteous and polite. And the leak has finally stopped 👍

Our Roofing Service in Chesham
Our Roofing Service in Chesham
Roofing isn't just one "job" — it's lots of smaller problems and decisions that affect the comfort and condition of your home. We cover the full range of roofing services, from planned work to urgent call-outs.
What We Do
Our day-to-day work typically includes:
How We Deliver It
We keep things straightforward. We'll inspect the roof properly, talk you through what's happening, and recommend the most sensible option. Sometimes it's a simple repair.
Sometimes it needs more attention to stop repeat issues. Either way, you'll get clear advice and a tidy finish.
Who We Work With
Most of our customers are local homeowners, landlords and property managers who want a reliable roofing contractor they can call again.
We work on everything from compact terraces to larger detached properties, and we're used to the mix of roof types you find across Chesham and the surrounding areas.
Emergency Roofing
Emergency Roofing Services When You Need Them Most
Some problems can't wait. If you've got active water coming in, a section of roof has shifted, or you've had storm damage, we provide emergency roof repair and emergency roofing services across Chesham and nearby parts of Buckinghamshire.
When people ring in a panic, the first thing we do is help you protect the inside of the house. Then we'll get out to assess the damage and carry out a safe, practical fix — whether that's a temporary weatherproof repair to stop further ingress, or a full repair where conditions allow.
If it needs follow-up work once things dry out, we'll explain what's next and why.

Experience That Shows in the Details
With 10 years in the trade, we've seen the same issues come up again and again — but we've also seen what happens when repairs are rushed or done on the cheap.
Our approach is to fix things properly, using the right materials for the roof type and the problem at hand.
Local Knowledge That Helps
Working in Chesham and across Buckinghamshire means you deal with everything from older tiled roofs to modern systems, plus the awkward access you get down some roads and the way wind and driving rain can pick at weak points.
We're used to spotting the “usual suspects” — valleys, chimney flashings, roof joins and tired ridge bedding — because we're on these roofs every week.
Clear Communication and Respectful Workmanship
Customers regularly tell us they value how we communicate. We'll explain what we're doing, keep you updated, and leave things neat.
Roofing is disruptive enough without someone making a mess of the driveway or garden. We take care, and it shows.
Proper Cover and Peace of Mind
We're fully insured, and all work is guaranteed. That matters — not just for bigger jobs, but for repairs too.
From Concept to Completion

Quick Chat and a Few Details
Call or message us with what you've noticed — leak, damp patch, slipped tiles, storm damage, or a general concern.
Roof Inspection
We'll take a proper look. Leaks can travel before they show inside, so we check likely entry points and the surrounding area, not just where the stain appears.
Clear Recommendation and Price
We'll explain the options in plain English and give you a straightforward price. If it's a simple fix, we'll say so. If it needs a more involved repair, we'll tell you why.
Carry Out the Work
We complete the repair or installation safely and to a high standard, using materials suited to the roof and conditions.
